Shelley Marsh started her finance career on the Japanese stock market in 1996 as a stock market analyst for Bankers Trust, picking investments for their International Fund.

From there she went on to analyse shares and other investments for several Hedge Funds and finally moved to analysing the Australian stock market in 2002.

In 2013, with the birth of her daughter, Shelley decided to take a career break and to use her extensive money skills to give back to the community. She spent 2 years at the Benevolent Society teaching social workers about money, so they could use those skills to help their clients.

In 2015, Shelley made the move to Financial Advice and in 2016 started her own financial advice business, Marsh Financial Advice Pty Ltd. She built that very successful retail business from the ground up and began working with several financially successful families to manage their wealth. At the end of 2022, it became clear to Shelley that her passion was supporting those high-net-worth individuals and families to grow and protect their wealth. Shelley made the decision to sell the retail business and establish Wealth Differently, giving her sole focus to working with individuals and families with substantial wealth.

With an extensive finance background as both an investment analyst and financial planner, Shelley is uniquely positioned to support high-net-worth individuals and families across the broad range of issues that managing large pools of family wealth brings. 

But more than that, she has the personal values and ethics to ensure engaging with her is more than ticking the investment boxes and building a portfolio.  

Shelley isn’t just going through the motions. Her focus is on protecting her clients’ interests to ensure their vision and values are at the forefront of every comprehensive wealth plan and individual decision. Her passion is to make the complex, simple and empower clients with the knowledge and understanding to make confident financial decisions.
