As they say, new year, new you. So, when my good friend and fellow adviser Karam Singh from ek Private Advisory asked me to be the first guest on his new podcast, I jumped at the chance to do something slightly outside my comfort zone.

What followed was a genuinely fun and thoughtful conversation. We shared experiences across market cycles and reflected on the types of client conversations we are having as we head into 2026. Much of our discussion centred on how experienced advisers interpret change, filter complexity, and help clients stay aligned with what truly matters over the long term.

It also felt like a quiet celebration of more than ten years of friendship and collaboration, which made the conversation even more enjoyable.
